An EURL follows the SARL rules for its office
An EURL (single-member limited liability company) is a SARL with only one partner. Nothing changes for the registered office: the address is written in the articles of association, and the company only exists once it is entered in the trade register.
At registration, the CNRC (National Trade Register Centre) asks for proof of office: a title deed or a notarised lease in the company's name. A domiciliation contract drawn up before a notary is one of the accepted proofs.
Manager's home or domiciliation: the comparison
Many EURL founders first think of their own address. The law allows it, but within a precise framework.

What domiciliation changes for a sole partner
- Your home address stays private: clients, suppliers and authorities write to the company's address.
- The office no longer depends on your housing: moving house does not force you to transfer the office.
- Business mail is kept apart from personal mail. At Neuron, it is received and you are notified when it arrives.
- You are not bound by the two-year limit, renewable once, of article 21.
Domiciliation is an address, not a workplace. If your EURL sells to the public, stores goods or manufactures, it needs real premises.

The manager's home helps at the start, for two years at most, renewable once. Domiciliation gives a stable, professional address.

The CNRC name certificate fixes the name the contract will carry.

Sign the domiciliation contract

The notary enters the domiciliation address as the EURL's registered office.

Register the EURL
The file is lodged with the CNRC. Then come the NIF (tax ID), the NIS (statistical ID) and the manager's CASNOS (self-employed social security) registration.
