What the domiciliation contract is for
Every commercial company has a registered office. The law places the company's legal domicile at that office: this is where the authorities, social security funds and your partners write to you. To register the company, the National Centre of the Commercial Register (CNRC) therefore asks for proof of that office.
The office is usually proven by a title deed or a lease. When your business does not need premises open to the public (consulting, IT services, construction work done on site, export...), a notarised domiciliation contract plays that role without you renting premises. It is the proof of registered office that Neuron gives you for your commercial register file.
What the contract contains
A domiciliation contract runs to a few pages. Before signing, check that it contains at least the following.
- The identity of both parties: the domiciliation centre on one side, the company or its manager on the other.
- The exact address provided, including the floor: this is what will be copied onto your commercial register entry.
- The purpose of the contract: setting the company's registered office at that address.
- The term, with a start date and an end date.
- The price.
- The services provided, such as receiving mail.
- The conditions for renewal and termination.
Why a notarial deed
The notary checks the signatories' identity and gives the deed a certain date. The notary keeps the original and gives you official copies to show the authorities. For a document that sets your company's legal address, that is a useful guarantee.
Like a commercial lease, a domiciliation contract concerns the address a company declares as its own. The notarial form gives it the same strength. At Neuron Cowork, the contract is always notarised.

Getting your contract in four steps
- 1
Check that your business can be domiciled
Tell us your activity or activity code. Before anything is signed, we tell you whether a domiciliation address is enough or whether premises are required (retail, workshop production).
- 2
Choose the term
1 year (72,000 DA) or 2 years (144,000 DA).
- 3
Send the two documents
The manager's ID and birth certificate, on WhatsApp or in person.
- 4
Sign at the notary's office
The contract is ready within 3 days at most. Keep your copies for the commercial register file and the steps that follow.
How it is used at the CNRC, then at the tax office
At the commercial register, the contract goes into the registration file with the articles of association and the other documents. The address it states becomes the registered office address shown on the commercial register extract.
At the tax office, the registered office address decides which tax office manages the company. Once registered, the company files its declaration of existence there on form G No. 8. Keep copies of the contract to hand: it is the proof of registered office you will be asked for in the following steps.
Renewal
When the contract ends, you sign a new one for 1 year or 2 years, still at 6,000 DA a month. Let us know a few weeks before the end date: while the deed is prepared, your address stays covered without a gap.
Other ways to prove a registered office
A domiciliation contract is not the only option. Commercial regulations also provide a temporary domiciliation for companies starting without premises.
This solution is temporary and depends on the agreement of the professional who hosts you. A domiciliation contract gives you a stable business address, separate from your home, which you keep for as long as you renew.
